You may have heard, I am giving away my book. "The Dimension Bible for DIYers" is FREE. Just cover the shipping and handling of $8.95 and you get the book for FREE..
In my book you will have answers for your questions, but more importantly you will find answers for the questions you didn't know to ask, and those are the one's that really cause the trouble.
When you begin a remodeling project there are lots of questions. like........
How do I design the best space for each room?
What height is the drain for a garbage disposal?
What height do I install the disposal switch?
What size exhaust fan do I need in the bathroom?
What height do I mount a bathroom mirror?
How much concrete do I need for that post hole?
How many bags or mulch do I need?
Waht size joists do I need on my deck?
How do I space electrical receptacles?
Where does the water line for the ice maker go?
What does AFF mean and is it important?
Where do I mount smoke detectors?
Is there a return air vent in the bathroom?
How do I estimate the amount of flooring I need?
How wide should the new sidewalk be?
What size wire do I need for new outside light?
...... and yes you could try to look them up on the internet, but I guarantee you will waste hours and still not be sure what is actually the right answer.
Your DIY tool box should have a variety of tools and the Dimension Bible is one of those "tools". It has uses you are not even aware of yet. It is not better or worse than other tools just different.
It's not a kindergarten or grade school level tool but rather a high school or junior college level "tool" You will grow into it as you go from project to project around your home,
The dimensions, measurement, formulas, conversion charts and more are the result of over 40 years experience in the building and remodeling industry. I have also included room for your own notes, so that you can use it to create a reference book specific to your own home
The Dimension Bible is a great resource for us do it yourselfers who want to quickly find size and location dimensions and other information all in one place. I have tried to find information like this on the internet and have grown frustrated by the conflicting information. It is wonderful to have the correct information all in one great resource. Nicely done.

I was a renter for almost a decade but recently purchased a fixer upper house. I now have a resource to let me accurately plan the design and renovations for the bathroom, and kitchen. I've already found that the standards and specs contained in the Dimension Bible have allowed me to understand better what contractors are telling me and for me to explain to them what I'd like to have done. Thanks Contractor John.

I was skeptical when I purchased the Dimension Bible, because I didn’t know if I would understand it. I am not experienced at doing things around the house. I am so excited that it is so easy for me to understand. I wrote the paint colors I used for the bathroom in the notes section and the type of new faucet too.
